BTEC Courses

Conflict Management

The course aims to equip staff with skills to deal with conflict or
aggression at work. The course looks at communication and behavior as well as how legislation is used to protect employees. The use of group exercises is intended to allow delegates to address any issues they have.

Physical Restraint

The BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Physical Restraint Practice course allows for all staff the opportunity to achieve the only Nationally Recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification on the knowledge, understanding and skills learners need to undertake appropriate and effective physical restraint to an intermediate standard. 

Weapons Awareness

Aims to provide learners with an enhanced awareness of the risk posed by knives and edged weapons in the UK today, as well as what would constitute competent safe working practices when managing situations where knives and edged weapons may be present.

Self Defence

Provides a competent physical self-defence / breakaway training programme to improve individual judgment, skill and knowledge with regard to the use of physical force for the purpose of creating a window of opportunity to escape from a physical assault upon their person.
